The death of Leona Berthelot, wife of the late Alcide Berthelot, of 175 Ferguson St, Atholville, occurred on June 28, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was 86.

Born in St. Alexis, Que., she was the daughter of the late Simon Doucet and Lea Gallant.

She is survived by her daughter Bertha Johnson of Campbellton, and her sons Charles (Marguerite) Berthelot of Campbellton, Peter Doucet of Dieppe, and 2 grandsons Jim(Jamie) Berthelot of Atholville, Denis Berthelot of Campbellton.

The funeral services were held at Notre Dame des Neiges Church, on July 1, at 2 p.m.

Lorraine Dobson LeBrun

The death of Lorraine Dobson LeBrun of 49 Dover St. Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 29, 2002. She was 71.

Born in Campbellton, on January 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Dobson and Laura Durette.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Gary) Smith of Lower Sackville, N.S., Carol (Bruce) Dickie, Diane (Pierre) Arseneault of Campbellton, Gisele LeBrun of Campbellton; her sons, Roland (Sandra Hall) LeBrun of Hamilton Ont., Robert LeBrun of Campbellton and six grandchildren, Matthew, Trina, Kori, Michael, Jamie, Mallory.

She is also survived by her sister Joyce Valdron and brothers; Harold Dobson, Sterling Dobson, Lloyd (Butch) Dobson, Carl Dobson, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held July 1, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Campbellton, with Rev. Benoit, officiating.

Interment at the St.Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Michael Dickie, Trina Dickie, Matthew LeBrun, Kori LeBrun, Kenny Valdron, Rolie LeBrun.

Honorary pallbearers were Ray Valdron, Bernie Berube, Donny Berube, Francis Gallant, Lorne Chesser, Sterling Dobson.

Maurice Jean Cormier

The death of Maurice Jean Cormier of Dalhousie, June 15, 2002. He was 57.

Born in St. Godefroi, Que., February 3. 1945, he was the son of the late Omer Cormier and Estelle Roussie.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean (Degrace) Cormier his mother Estelle (Roussie) Cormier, his daughter Brigitte Cormier Hanna (Tony), Fredericton and his son Pierre Cormier (Isabelle), Saint John. He is also survived by his sister Marie Claire Vautour Trois Rivieres, Que, two brothers Hector Cormier Dalhousie, Ronald Cormier Fredericton, and two grandchildren Sadie & Cameron.

The funeral was held from St. Jean Baptiste Church, Dalhousie, on June 19, 2002, with Rev. Doiron officiating.

Interment St.Jean Baptiste cemetery, Dalhousie.
