Margaret Richardson
The death of Margaret Richardson of Charlo occurred on Sunday, June 30. She was 87.
Born in Saint John, the daughter of Charles Pippen and Elizabeth (Johnson).
She was predeceased by her husband James and her brother Kenneth.
She is survived by her son Gordie (Joyce) of Charlo and her daughter Heather Ward (Ron) of Belldune, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grand- children, a brother, Gordon Pippen (Orpha) of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral was held from St.Johns United Church, Dalhousie on July 2, with Rev. Roland Hutchinson officiating.
Pallbearers were Jason Ward, Nathan Richardson, Steve Robertson, Trevor Barristo, James Alexander and Junior Boudreau.
Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Ward, Jean Eudes Parent, Donnie Gallen, George Leclair, Vaughan Mackenzie, Gilbert Richardson and George Richardson.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan Funeral Home, Black Point.
John E. Chiasson
The late John E. Chiasson formerly of Dalhousie, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2002, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 89.
Born in Shippagan, he was the son of the late Cesar and Marie (St-Coeur) Chiasson. He was retired from the NBIP.
He his survived by his wife Doris (Latulippe), 2 stepdaughters Colleen Tozer (Veryl) of Miramichi, and Suzan Gallant (Ian Whiteway) of Riverview, 2 sons; Mark of Manitoba, Gilles Morais (Berthe) of Courtice Ont., 2 sisters; Ursula (Broswell) Jennings and Alexina Henry both of Dalhousie; several grand-children, great-grand-children, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his first wife Eugenie Thomas, 3 brothers; Albert, Elzear and Leolin. The remains rested at Northumberland Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial held on Monday July 8 from St. Briget’s R.C. Church in Renous with Msgr. Joseph Woods officiating.
Burial was in Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Curch, Millerton.
Pallbearers were Matthew Tozer, Michael Gallant, Christopher Gallant, Edwin Gray, Ian Witheway and Paul Murphy.
