Camille Eugene Allard
Born February 18, 1927, Benjamin River, New Brunswick
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Camille Eugene Allard, of Chestermere Lake, Alberta, on November 23, 2004. Camille is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Aline; and their children; Bob (Joan), George, Camilla (Greg), Gerald (Linda), Roger (Joan) and Greg. As well as his beloved grandchildren, who knew him affectionately as "Grampy or Pepere," Trena (Mark), Jeffery, Sarah, April (Jason), Krissy, Myles, and Kimberly and 3 great-grandchildren, Brandon, Hailey and Selacia.
Camille always made time for his family. He was quick to smile and loved to tell stories. Throughout his life he constantly built things with his hands; a sawmill, a country store, family house, lobster fishing boats, furniture and even toys for his children and grandchildren. He had a keen sense of adventure; always willing to try something new. His many exploits included learning to ride motorcycles, snowmobiles and cross-country skiing and even dance lessons. Camille and Aline loved to travel; whether it was by boat, camper or jet, his bags were always packed.
Camille taught his children to laugh, be adventurous, tell a good story, be honest and sincere and most of all to love.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1825 Park Rd. SE, Calgary, AB T2G 3Y6 or please have mass said at your church in his honour.
