Charlie Galloway

Charlie Galloway was born in Dalhousie, NB. He passed away on November 13, 2007, in La Vegas, Nevada after heart surgery. Charlie was the son of Thomas Galloway and Catherine Penny, both deceased. Charlie worked as security in a Las Vegas casino. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.






Claude Herman Arbeau

The death of Claude Herman Arbeau, of Dalhousie, occurred in Dalhousie on November 25th, 2007, at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years (May) on June 1, 2005. He worked at The local Pulp and Paper Mill for 42 years and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 17, Dalhousie.

Born in Upper Blackville, N.B. on June 29, 1926, he was the son of the late Herman Arbeau of Upper Blackville, N.B. and the late Daisy Pennells formerly from Sussex, England.

He was also predeceased by his brothers, Joe, Reggie, and Lawrence and his sister Uvella.

Surviving is his eleven children: his daughters Debbie Long of Dartmouth, N.S., Joanne (Jean-Luc) Laforge of Truro, N.S., Donna (Mark) Miller of Point La Nim, N.B., and Brenda Richards (Mark) of Dartmouth, N.S., sons Robert (Doreen) of Dalhousie Junction, N.B., John of Atholville, N.B., Brian (Coulombe) of St. Quentin, N.B., David (Debbie) of Trenton, Ontario, Raymond (Shirley) of Saint John, N.B., Danny (Arlene) of Pembroke, Ontario, Donald (Brenda) of Sarnia, Ontario. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The funeral was held from St. John's United Church in Dalhousie on Friday, November 30, 2007, officiated by Rev. Dean Lawrence, with interment in the St. John Bosco Parish Cemetary in the spring. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie. Gone but not forgotten.

Lindsay Joseph McDonnell

The death of Lindsay McDonnell of Belledune occurred suddenly at his residence in Charlo Sunday November 25, 2007, at the age of 53. Born in Belledune, he was the son of Kathleen Young and the late John (Jack) McDonnell.

Lindsay was employed at the Belledune Smelter as a heavy equipment operator.

He was pre-deceased by his father and son Christopher. He is survived by his sons Jeff of Toronto and John Matthew of Bathurst, companion Rose Pictou, as well as his brothers Glendon (Sandra) of Alton, ON, Michael (Marilyn) of Oshawa, ON, Frank (Emmie) of Belledune, sisters Debbie Goudreau (Phil) of Moncton, Patty Boucher (Wayne) of Bathurst and Joanne Hache (Charles) of Belledune.

His funeral was held November 28, 2007, from St. John the Evangelist Church, Belledune. Pallbearers were Lonnie LaPointe, Royce McDonnell, Glendon McDonnell, Ray Godin, Renaud Charest, and Paul Devereaux.

Lindsay Joseph McDonnell

The death of Muriel Mealey of Atholville, occurred Thursday, November 29th at Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Montreal, the daughter of late Robert Spittle and Annie Decoteau.

She is survived by her daughters Diana Carrier (Lindsay) of Black Point, Anne Daigle of Benjamin River, Maria Rogers (Bruce) of Belleville, ON, son Teddy (Cora) of Bathurst, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ken Mealey, and son-in-law Simon Daigle.

Her funeral will be held from Our Lady of Visitation Church, Benjamin River, Saturday, December 1, 2007, officiated by Father David Ferguson with burial to take place in Trenton, Ontario. Pallbearers were Ken Daigle, James Massey, Eugene LaPointe, Raymond Daigle, Roger Guitard, and Wayne Mallaley. Rolande LeBlanc

Passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 26, 2007 at the age of 72, Mrs. Rolande LeBlanc. Born in Val D'Amour on August 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Frank LeBlanc and the late Rose Anne Levesque.

She leaves to mourn her husband Aurèle LeBlanc, her daughters Johanne from Saint John and Nathalie (Yves Coulombe) from Campbellton, her son Michel from Ontario, her brothers Oscar, Roméo, Roland, John and Roger. Also survived by her grandsons Anthony & Brandon Coulombe. Predeceased by her parents, sisters Anita, Lorraine and Jeannette, brothers Paul-Émile and Ernest.

The funeral mass was held from Our Lady of Snow Church Campbellton on Friday November 30th at 2pm. Father Morrison officiating. Pallbearers were Michel LeBlanc, Yves Coulombe, Fernand Girard and Stewart McRae.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Scott Lee
1973 - 2007

Passed away suddenly on November 23, 2007, in Harrison, Hot Springs, BC at the age of 34.

Born in Campbellton on August 18, 1973, he was the son of Danny Lee and Daisy Lee (Long).

He is survived by 2 daughters, Brianna Smith Lee (7), Tanisha Smith Lee (4) and stepdaughter Shania Smith (12). He is also survived by 2 brothers, Ricky Lee (Sharon) and Jason Lee and nieces and nephews, all of Campbellton.

He will be sadly missed by all family members and many friends.

A private funeral for family and invited friends will take place in the spring. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home.
