Frances Marion Murray
The death of Frances Marion Murray resident of Smith Falls, Ontario since 1997 and formerly of Campbellton, occurred in Smith Falls on December 11, 2005, at the age of 92.
Born in Chatham, N.B., on April 24, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Fred Connell and the late Margaret Phalan. Frances was a retired school teacher in Campbellton and Dalhousie, she was life member of CWL and Past Provincial President of the CWL, a member of the Restigouche Cultural Association, an avid bridge player, and Pastoral Care at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
Surviving are her daughters Barbara Doucette-LeBlanc (Alphonse) of Campbellton, Mary (Eddie) Brown of Fort Lauderdale, Margery (Ray) Healey of Smith Falls and Sheila (Wayne) Ragsdale of Fort Lauderdale, her sons Charles (Vanita) Murray of Burtonsville, Maryland, Dan Murray of Vancouver, George Murray of Ottawa, Terry (Janice) Murray of Ottawa and Peter (Patty) Murray of Hamilton, her sister Gertrude (Perse) Venn of Cornwall, Ont., and her brother Father Arthur Connell of Saint John, N.B. Also surviving are many grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Predeceasing her were her parents Fred and Margaret and one son Arthur in 1961.
The funeral was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on December 17, 2005, officiated by Father Arthur Connell, with interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Charles Murray, Danny Murray, George Murray, Terry Murray, Peter Murray and Jonathan Doucet. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Pearl Landry
The death of Pearl Landry, resident of the Campbellton Nursing Home, occurred at the nursing home on December 16, 2005, at the age of 83.
Born in Campbellton on July 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph George Doucet and the late Martha LeBoeuffe. Pearl worked for many years as a Psychiatric Attendant at the Restigouche Hospital and she was a member of the CWL.
Surviving are her sons Claude (Joyce) Landry of Halifax and Robert "Tim" (Monique) Landry of Moncton, her brothers Venner Doucet of Campbellton and Earl Doucet of Campbellton. Also surviving are grandchildren Dean Landry of Saint John, N.B., Dana Landry and Tanya Simpson both of Halifax and Francoise Landry of Moncton, her great grandchildren Sean and Grace Landry and Emma and Ryan Simpson.
Predeceasing her were her parents Joseph and Martha and one sister Agnes Hamilton.
The funeral was held from St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on December 19, 2005, officiated by Father William Arseneau, with interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery in the Spring. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Sister Patricia Doyle, f.j.
Sister Patricia Doyle, in religion, Marie Patricia, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 553 Elmwood Drive, Moncton, at the age of 106 and in her 87th year of her religious profession.
Born June 18, 1899 in Doyleville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Lapointe) Doyle.
Sister spent the greater part of her life working as a nurse, x-ray technician and a lab technician in Montana, Alberta, Québec, and Nova Scotia.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family, and is predeceased by seven brothers: Michael, Laurence, John Walter, Joseph, Charles, Raymond, Clement James; five sisters: Mary Elizabeth, Briget Ethel, Jean, Sister St. Paul, f.j. and Sister Charlotte, s.c.
Her remains rested Thursday, December 15, 2005, from 2 p.m. at Les Filles de Jésus, 553 Elmwood Drive, Moncton, from where the funeral mass was celebrated Friday, December 16, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe in the spring.

Thomas Hanley
Tom Hanley of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on November 29, 2005, at the age of 67 years.
He was born in Dalhousie, son of the late Deline Doucet and Jack Hanley.
He is survived by his 3 children John, Joanne, Darlene and grandchildren; brothers Arthur Hanley of B.C., Joe Hanley of B.C., Mike (Claire) Hanley of Dalhousie; sisters Kay Lincoln of Ontario, Theresa Marion of Ontario, Cecilia Savoy of Dalhousie, Louise (Tony) Levesque of Dalhousie, Frances (Jet) Gagnon of Point la Nim, Judy (Stan) Tribe of Dalhousie, and Pat (Ranny) Rankin of Dalhousie.
Predeceasing him was his wife Marielle Joseph formerly of Atholville, N.B. and one brother Jack of Winnipeg.
A memorial service was held in Sudbury, Ontario on December 2, 2005. His remains were buried with his wife in Sudbury, Ontario.
