Dr. Kenneth Tulle

Citizens of Restigouche County and the Town of Dalhousie have learned with deep regret of the death of a well-known and respected former physician from this area

Dr.L.Kenneth Tulle died October 7, 2004, at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He was 70

Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ninian's Cathedral in Antigonish on October 11, 2004, with the Rector, Father Ray Huntley officiating, assisted by Father Robert Floyd, a friend of the family.

Born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Louis Kenneth Tulle was a son of the late George and Angelina (Joseph) Tulle. He did general practice in Dalhousie for seven years prior to practicing radiology in Moncton and Antigonish. Following retirement, Dr. Tulle spent time with CACL residents and at the Antigonish Food Bank. He enjoyed gardening, duplicate bridge, golfing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Edith (Edie) Lipsett; daughter Mary of Halifax; five sons, George (Claire Ballantyne) of Calgary, David of Milwaukee, Derek (Donna O'Brien) of Riverview, NB, Ian of Riverview and Gary of Antigonish; six grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlin, Mega, Carolyn, Karly, and Brian; brother Alison of Toronto; two sisters, Phyllis (bob) Inkpen of Dartmouth and Selma (Vince) Mitchell of Newcastle.

Ethel Munroe

Campbellton- Mrs. Ethel Munroe, wife of the late Howard Munroe, of Campbellton Nursing Home and formerly of Bathurst, died Friday, December 3, 2004, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna (Roy) MacDonald.

She attended the Bayview Baptist Church in Bathurst.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law- Carole Munroe of Saratoga Springs, NY, USA; two sisters, Viola Billingsley (Ralph) of Campbellton and Elva Comeau of Thunder bay, ON, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Perely.

Felicia Fitzgerald

The death of Felicia Fitzgerald of Matapedia, Quebec, occurred in Campbellton on December 10, 2004, at the age of 92.

Born in Campbellton on February 4, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Richard Murray and the late Elizabeth Delaney.

She is survived by her daughters Faye MacNaughton, Barbara Craswell and Kathy Irvine; sons Frank Fitzgerald and Garth Fitzgerald, 11 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank Fitzgerald; two children Francis Weir and Catherine Ann; parents Richard and Elizabeth; four sisters and two brothers.

Sia Chambers

Peacefully with her family by her side at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 10, 2004, passed away Sia Chambers (born Blom).

Born in Hague, Holland, in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Herman Bloom and the late Sia Bollen, beloved wife of Cameron Chambers, devoted and loving mother of Ken (Joan) Chambers of Edmonton, Alberta, Gary (Yolaine) Chambers of Fredericton, NB, and Anne Hatcher of Halifax, NS. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christina, Jessica, Danielle, Kenny, and Neil, her sister ans Weissner-Blom of Hague, Holland and brothers Herman Blom of Huizen, Holland and Michel Blom of Hague, Holland.

Yvonne Clark

The death of Yvonne Clark, resident of the Village Nursing Home in Campbellton, occurred at the nursing home on December 5, 2004.

Born in Miscou Island on June 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Sandy Sivret and the late Leona Duguay.

She is survived by her daughters Helen (Jean-Aimé) Essiembre of McLeods, Barbara (Jean-Pierre) Leblanc of Campbellton, Brenda (Richard) Englehart of Richardsville, Judy Legere of Moncton and Doreen (Jean Paul) Frenette of Campbellton; brothers Edmond, Ernest, Gerald, Joseph and Léonidas; 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter.

Florence Daigle

The death of Florence Diagle of Jacquet River, wife of the late Henry Daigle occurred December 5,2004 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 82.

Born In Jacquet River, she was the daughter of Harold Ellis and Kate Legacy.

She is survived by her two sons Simon (Ann) of Benjamin River and Raymond (Lorraine) of Jacquet River; one daughter Annie Marie Herring (bob) of St. Catherines, ON, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Urban and sister Eileen both of Jacquet River.

She was predeceased by her husband Henry and, brothers rein and Jackie.

Jean Macnair

The death of Mrs. Jean MacNair, residents of the Dalhousie Nursing Home and formerly of Charlo, occurred at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on December 7, 2004.

Born in River Charlo, NB, on March 23, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Dan Hamilton and the late Ethel Miller.

She is survived by her sons Jim MacNair of Val D'Or, PQ, Carl (Faye) MacNair of Charlo and Raymond (Irma) MacNair of Charlo; sisters Stella MacNair f Charlo and Viola MacNair of Dalhousie.

She was predeceases by her parents Dan and Ethel and her husband Raymond John MacNair.

Mona Selesse

The death of Mona Selesse, wife of Brian Arseneault, of 115 Lansdowne St, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on December 12, 2004.

Born in Campbellton n July 24, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Alphee Selesse and the late Doris Borris.

She is survived by her husband Brian Arseneault; son Daniel Selesse of Campbellton; sisters Denise (Gary Guitrad) of Fredericton and Lynn (Bruno Pelletier) of Dundee; brother Roger (Line Cellard) of Pointe à la Garde.
