HELENA DOUCET
Helena Doucet, wife of the late John Doucet, passed away July 15, 2002 in her Montreal home at the age of 92.
She is survived by her eleven children; Raymond, Clifford, Andrew, Anna, Arthur, Roger, and Lionel Doucet, Mabel Arseneault, Dorah Lee, Susan Dupuis, and Rita Soucy, as well as many grand-children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Cecile Duguay Perreault
The death of Cecile Duguay Perreault, 81, of Campbellton occurred on August 27, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
She was born on March 14, 1921 in Petit Rocher to Theodore Arsenault and Georgina Pitre and spent her life as a loving mother and housewife.
She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine LePage of Campbellton, her sons; Paul Duguay of BC, Florent (Helene) Duguay of Edmonton, (Gerry) Gerald (Claudette) Duguay of Campbellton, and Raymond (Monique) Duguay of Campbellton, her brother, Paul Arsenault of Toronto, her grandchildren; Michel, Nicole, Caroline, Brenda, Scott, Keith, Starr, Paulo, Richard, Ronald, Nathalie, Brigitte, Kevin, and Kathy, as well as many great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Norman Arseneault.
Her funeral was held August 30, at L’Eglise Notre Dame des Neiges in Campbellton with father Morrison officiating. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her greatly.
Her funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home in Campbellton.
Richard Delaney Babcock
The death of Richard Delaney Babcock of Campbellton occurred on September 4, 2002 at the age of 58 in Dalhousie.
He was born in Campbellton on June 29, 1944 to the late Adam Babcock and the late Mary (Mollie) Murray.
He is survived by his wife, Denise (Dumont) Babcock, his two daughters; Lisa Evans (John) of Burton, N.B. and Nancy Babcock of Campbellton, his son, Kevin Babcock (Tammy) of Moncton, his sister, Mildred Allard (Raymond) of Fredericton, his brother-in-law, Gerry Dumont (Carmel) of Campbellton, his nephews; Brent and Rodney Babcock and Pierre and Mark Dumont, one niece, Natalie Allard and one grandson Ethan Evans.
He was predeceased by two brothers; David and Patrick and one sister, Elizabeth.
His funeral was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on September 9 with father Wesley Wade officiating . Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Derek Léger, Gerald Diotte, Pierre Guitard, John Drapeau, Walter Parent, and Tom Flanagan.
His funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home in Campbellton.
Dorine Lebourque
The death of Dorine LeBourque, 77, of Atholville occurred on September 2, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
She was born on July 25, 1925 to the late Maxime LeBourque and the late Delvina Parent.
She is survived by her husband, Wilfred Foucault, her daughter, Claire Gallant of Campbellton, her son, Claude Blaquiere of Alberta, her sister, Rita Poirier of Dalhousie, her two brothers; Alphonse LeBourque and Johnny LeBourque of Athoville, as well as grandchildren Marco Blaquiere, Nadine Gallant, and Joe Thibeault and great-grandson, Malik Vesely.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Edouard Blaquiere and her second husband, Germain Gallant.
Her funeral was held on September 5 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Atholville with Rev. Morrison officiating.
Pallbearers were Donald, Terry, Jacques, and Richard Blaquiere and Roland and Chaude Foucault.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home in Campbellton.
Lucien Fontaine
The death of Lucien Fontaine, 81, of Balmoral occurred on August 28, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, he was born on October 3, 1920 to the late Auguste Fontaine and the late Salome Ouellette.
He is survived by his wife, Maria (Parent) Fontaine, his daughters; Irene (Roger Senechal) Fontaine of St. Foy, PQ., Clairine Fontaine of Balmoral, Ginette (Jean-Paul) Boucher of Campbellton, Linda (Rejean Levesque) Fontaine of Charlesbourg, PQ., and Monette Fontaine of Balmoral, his sons; Roland (Geraldine LeBlanc) of McKendrick, Gordon (Georgie Quirion) or Toronto, his brothers; Damase (Rita) Fontaine of Balmoral and Adorise (Adrienne) of Eel River Crossing, his sisters; Hectorine Fontaine of Toronto and Anna (Clermont Lamontagne) of Campbellton as well as 14 grandchildren; Carolle, Brigitte, Danny, Diane, Guy, Line, Nadia, Serge, Chantal, Michel, Rachel, Patrick, Francois, and Mathieu, and seven great-grand-children.
His funeral was held at St. Benoit’s Church in Balmoral on August 31 with father Leo Lanteigne officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Roland Fontaine, Gordon Fontaine, Jean-Paul Boucher, Rejean Levesque, Danny Arsenault, and Gilles Melanson.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home in Balmoral.
