Alistair Charles Irving

(Past District Deputy Grand Master of Wellington District; Past Master 1992 & 2Q01 of Friendship Lodge #732 GRC; 33rd Degree Scottish Rite) .

On Thursday, January 27, 2005, at the Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, passed away Al Irving of Georgetown, Ontario.

Beloved husband of Gloria Benner and loving father of Bonnie (Gerry Cumming) of Thamesford, Ont, Roxanne. Callow of Sarnia, Ont, Kathi (Glenn Murphy) of London, Ont, Chuck (Cindy) of St. Thomas, Ont, step-father of Rick. (Doris Hebbourn) of RidgeWay; Ont., Barb (Dave Long). of Keswick, Ont,

Predeceased by Donna Ashton, brother to Muriel Heathcote (Eric) of Sidney, BC, Joyce Young of Flatlands; NB, Westley Irving (Betty) of Hilton Beach, ON, Lorne Irving of Campbellton, NB, Wayne Irving (Alsa) of Flatlands, NB, and Don Irving (Mary Lou) of Flatlands, NB.

Also surviving are his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceasing him were his parents Westley and Edna Irving, three sisters and three brothers.

Friends were received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Georgetown, Ontario, on Sunday, January 30, 2005. Funeral and committal Service was held in the chapel on Monday, January 31, 2005. Masonic Service was held on Sunday evening with reception to follow at the Masonic Hall.

Annie Bella Arseneault

We are saddened to announce the death of our mother, Annie Bella Arseneault, on Sunday February 6, 2005, at the Dalhousie Nursing Home.

Born in Eel River Crossing in 1923, she was the daughter of the late Delima and Andre LaPointe. In her youth, she worked at Dalfen's and Abud's stores and was an enthusiastic member of the JOC (Young Catholic Workers). A devoted mother, she shared with us her deep human values and every song she knew. In addition to her friends and in-laws, her passing is mourned by four daughters: Monique of Moncton, NB, Lorraine (Ned Bean) of Lindsay, ON, Estelle (Michel Miron) of Gatineau, QC, Sylvie (Robert Maloney) of Moncton; two sons: Gilles and Jacques of Toronto; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; as well as three sisters: Rita (Georges) Leblanc of Campbellton, Maria (John) Murray of Dalhousie and Anita Lapointe of Bathurst; two brothers: Andre (Yvonne) LaPointe of Dalhousie and Armand (Corry) LaPointe of Owen Sound, ON. Her husband Leon and her sister Cecilia predeceased her in Eternity. Annie Bella died peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by her loved ones.

The funeral was held from St. John the Baptist Church in Dalhousie on February 7, 2005. Interment will be held in the spring. Pallbearers were: grandchildren, Maryse Arseneault, Christopher Bean, Lyanna Despres; her godchild Helene Bernard; and nephews Michael Murray and Georges Arseneau.

Laurence Francoeur

The death of Laurence Francoeur of 7 Andrew Street, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 17, 2005.

Born in Lac au Saumon, Que., on September 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Leon Rioux and the late Agnes Tardif.

Surviving her are her daughter Claudette (Wayne) McGill of Moncton; and sons Gerald (Doris) Francoeur of Petit Rocher, Gilles (Michelle) Francoeur. of Edmundston and Daniel (Sheree) Francoeur of Brampton, Ont

Predeceasing her were her parents Leon. and Agnes; her children Marc, Denise and Charles; two brothers Leonard and Roger and her ex-husband Delphis Francoeur.

The funeral was held from Notre Dame des Neiges Church on January 20, 2005, officiated by Rev. Romeo Morrison. Pallbearers were "La Garde Paroissia1e Notre Dame des Neiges". Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Dorothy A1ine Mann

With her family by her side, Mrs. Dorothy Aline Mann, wife of the late Borden Mann, passed away Saturday February 12, 2005, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 85.

Born in Flatlands, NB, on October 22, 1919, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Law (Firth).

She is survived by her family: sons, Wayne (Willa) of Tide Head, Royce (Susan) of Campbellton; daughters Jeannie (Dave) of Tide Head and June (Mike) of Dartmouth, NS; sister Wanda of Moncton, NB; brother Reginald Law of Campbellton, NB; grandchildren Ricky, Darren, Troy, Jason, Kristal, Andrew, Brent and Kyk!; great-grandchildren Bayley, Kira, Liam, Danielle, Madison, MacKenzie and Quinton; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Borden Reginald, five brothers and four sisters.

Resting at Maher's Funeral home with visitation on Sunday February 13, 2005. The funeral service was held on Monday, February 14, 2005, from St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Active pallbearers, were: Wayne Mann, Royce Mann, Troy Mann, Darren Mann, Mike Doyle and Dave Russell. Honorary pallbearers Reginald Law, Kevin Murray, Frank Murray, Michael Firth, Bonar Law, David Mann, Sanford Mann (Jr) and Ian Mann. Interment will be in the spring at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery. Dorothy will always be remembered for her great sense of humour and for the unconditional love she had for her family. Dorothy loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

James Ralph Cooling

The death of James Ralph Cooling of 98 Pollock Road, Glen Levit, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 11,2005, at the age of 60.

Born in Campbellton, on March 4, 1944, he was the son of the late Ralph Cooling and the late Etta Smith.

He is survived by his wife Joan Kelly Cooling;. daughter Karyn Cooling of Glen Levit; son Derek Cooling of Saint John, N.B. sisters Glenna Hamilton of Jacquet River, N.B. and Della Court of Dawsonville, N.B.; and brother Dennis Cooling of Cambridge, Ont.

The funeral was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 14, 2005, officiated by Rev. Andrew Fraser, with burial to take place in the Dawsonville Cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Jim Babcock, Howard Cooling, Brad Firth, Brian Firth, Tom Kelly and Mark Ramsay. Honourary pallbearers were Ray Blanchette, Malcolm Cooling, Ronnie Hamilton, Joe Hennigar, Silas Matchett, Ralph Nichol and Dana Watson. Funer:al arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton

Terrance John David Dundon

Saint ,John, N.B - The death of Terrance (Terry) John David Dundon of Saint John, N.B. occurred on Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at his residence.

Born on April 11, 1952, in Dalhousie; N;B. he was the son of the late John and Anna (Frees) Dundon of Dalhousie.

He is survived by his wife Nancy (BIaunt) Dundon; sons: Jason (Kim), Terry, and Paul; daughter Melissa; grandchild Genna all of Saint John, N.B.; sister Judith-Anna (Allain) Gautreau of Riverview N.B.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a friend Walda Brownell of Saint John, N.B.

Remains rested at Brenan's Select community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Sunday, February 6, 2005. Funeral Service was held on Monday, February 7, 2005, from Brenan's Chapel with Rev. Carl O'Donnell Officiating (Cousin of Deceased). Interment will take place in the spring in New Mills, N;B.

Laurence Francoeur

Reginald Gordon Stewart

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Reginald (Reg) Gordon Stewart of 238 Goderich Street, Dalhousie, NB, which occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on January 27, 2005, at the age of 70.

Born in Dalhousie, he was the son of the late JA Reid Stewart and the late Winnifred Anne Miller. Reginald was employed as an Electrician at the NBIP Mill, and later in the General Maintenance Department at CIL. In April 1975, he formed his own company - Reginald Stewart Electrical Ltd. and its operations occupied him until his semiretirement in December 2000.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 32, E & A.M., and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

He will be sadly missed by his Wife Dorothy Beckingham Stewart of Dalhousie, NB; Son Harvie (Frances) Stewart of Quispamsis, NB; Daughters; Laurie (Ralph) Gilks of Dalhousie, NB; and Deena (Glen) Sutton and Grandsons: Ethan and Riley Sutton all of Dalhousie, NB; Sister: Beth (Allison) Pollock of Tide Head, NB; Brothers: John "Bud" (Eva) Stewart of Dalhousie and Bill (Eva) Stewart of Sussex, NB; Sisters-in-law: Barbara M. Stewart of Fredericton, NB, Merna Fraser of Campbellton, NB, Thora Nugent of Ottawa, ON, Adonia Beckingham of Dalhousie, NB; several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Reginald was predeceased by his parents, Reid and Anne, son Gordon in 1995 and brother Gerry in 2001.

The funeral was held from St. Jo}m's United Church in Dalhousie, NB, on February 1, 2005. Interment will be in the Dalhousie Cemetery Extension in New Mills. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Dalhousie, NB.

Margaret Downs

The death of Margaret Downs, resident of the Campbellton Nursing Home, occurred at the nursing home on January 20, 2005, at the age of 88.

Born in Matapedia, Quebec on May 31, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Alexander (Sandy) Pratt and the late Bertha Bulmer. She was a member of St. John's United Church in Broadlands, Quebec.

She is survived by her daughters: Mary (Elmer) Needle of Saint John, N.B. and Ann (Doug) Smith of Lindsay, Ont.; daughter-in-law: Sheila of New Richmond, Que., sons: Billy (Marilyn) of Point de Bute, N.B. and Gary (Audrey) of Peterborough, Ont., eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Bill; son Tommy; brothers: Willie, Irvine, Pete, Tad, Porter; sisters: Isobel Whitman, Jean Babcock, Bertha Cowland, Bernice Targett and Thelma Downs.

The funeral was held from Maher's. Funeral Chapel in Campbellton on Monday, January 24, 2005, officiated by Rev. Wendell Gregan. Pallbearers were grandchildren, Kevin Downs, Jeffrey Downs, Michael Downs, Peter Downs, Scott Needle, Heather Hubbard and Lisa Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Arlene Nicol, Harvey Gregoire, Jackie Gregoire, Bill Bulmer and Donald Downs. funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

Harold (Earl) Clair

The death of Harold (Earl) Clair, resident of the Soldier's Memorial Villa, 35 Arran Street, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 6, 2005, at the age of 97.

Born in Campbellton on April 11, 1907, he was the son of the late Joseph Thomas Clair and the late Marie Genevieve Duguay. Harold was employed with Fraser Pulp and Paper Mill for 42 years. He was also a member of Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish Church, an avid golfer, and also loved baseball and cross-country skiing.

He will be sadly missed by his children Earlene (Harrison) MacNeish, Willena (Hugh) O'Brien, Reg (Helen) Clair, Edison (Alice) Clair and Kerry (Wendy) Clair. Also surviving him were his grandchildren Carla, Clair, Geoffrey, Jennifer, Stephen, Ann, Donna Lynn, Brian, Mark, Gregg, Lesley, Holly, Tyler, Lori-Ellen, Krista, Stacey, Kevin and 16 great grandchildren.

Predeceasing Harold was his wife Margaret Hennesy Clair, daughter Maureen Barry and grandson Shawn Clair.

The funeral was held from Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in Campbellton on February 9, 2005, officiated by Rev. Gregory Culligan. Pallbearers were O'Leary Hennesy, Stephen O'Brien, Kevin Barry, Geoffrey MacNeish, Jeffrey Maltais, Gregg Clair and Tyler Clair. Funeral arrangements were placed in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
