Peacefully, blessedly surrounded by his beloved and loving family Thursday November 28, 2002 at the Peter D. Clark Centre in Ottawa.
He was born in New Brunswick on October 2, 1916 and was a devoted son to the late Gabriel and Adele Manuel.
He was the beloved husband of Grace Pauline Witherly, cherished dad of Pamela (John), Lynn, Carol (John), Charles (Sylvie), and Sheila (Larry). He was the loving grandpa of Don and Julie DeWulf , Lorraine and Philippe DePreux, Ryan, Michael and Stephen Lidington, James Magwood, David, John and Jade Manuel, Erin, Shauna and Megan O'Farrell and greatgrandpa of Brianna and Connor Fisher and Alexandre Ravary. He also leaves to mourn his sisters; Olga, Savoy and Theresa Hutchinson of Campbellton.
Angels believe that all that matters is who you love and who loves you. God has called an angel home.
His funeral was held on November 30 at the Holy Cross Church with interment in the Hope Cemetery.
Evelyn Bisson (Dow)
The death of Evelyn Bisson of Campbellton occurred on December 2, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was 79.
She was born in Port Daniel, Quebec on August 15, 1923 to the late Asa Dow and the late Winifred Robinson
She is survived by her husband, Eubulus, her daughter, Geraldine, of Windsor, Ontario, her sister, Irene Connors of Tide Head, several sisters and brothers-in-law as well as many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by three brothers; Chester, Fred, and Ernest.
Despite her busy home life during her years in New Richmond, she always found time for community involvement, she was instrumental in building St. Mary Magdalene's Anglican Church and served as treasurer for over 20 years.
For decades she served on the executive of the Canadian Bible Society and was its president for several terms.
An intelligent and diligent leader, she was president of the New Richmond branch of the Gaspesian Cultural Association. Through the GCA she became involved in the library and was the last English speaking volunteer after the organization was taken over by the municipality.
She also served as local president of the Quebec Heart Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society and was a tireless fundraiser for both groups.
Through her community work, she was a positive impact on the community of New Richmond and was awarded the Personality of the Year in 1983.
But above all, her greatest achievement was her untiring devotion to her family and friends.
Her memorial service was held on December 5 at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican church in New Richmond with Rev. Paul Lampman officiating. Interment was at St. James Anglican Church Cemetery in Port Daniel.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Campbellton.
Joseph Alfred Bouley
The death of Joseph Bouley of Truro, N.S. occurred on December 13, 2002 at Colchester Regional Hospital. He was born in Campbellton, the son of the late Joe and Amanda (Bernatchez) Bouley.
He was a member of the Royal Canadian Artillery from 1940-1946 serving in England and France during the Second World War.
He moved to Truro in 1973 where he was co-owner of B&B Glass. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26 in Truro, a member of the Air Force Club, a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, and really enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
He is survived by his companion, Doris Allen, his daughter, Sherri Lee (Douglas) Burtch of Hamilton, his sons; Henry (Elizabeth) of St. Catherines and Joey (Pearl) of Truro Heights, his sisters; Alma Bouley of Toronto and Mary Turgeon of Arveda, Quebec, his gradchildren; Michelle, Lisa, Joanne, Jennifer, Simone and Shawn, his great-grandchild; Quinn, step-daughters; Barry, Randy, Errol, Kevin and Paul, his 16 step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Bonnie-Lee, his son, Richard, his sisters, Beatrice and Corinna, his brothers; Philias, Wilford, and Narcisse.
A funeral mass was held at the Immaculate Conception Church with Father Ronald Cairns officiating. Interment will be in the Robie St. Cemetery, Truro in the spring.
Donations to the Nova Scotia Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.

Daisy Jamieson
Daisy Jamieson passed away on December 10, 2002 at the York Manor Home in Fredericton at the age of 88. She was born on May 27, 1914 the daughter of the late David Jamieson and the late Lillian Ferguson and was active in the Campbellton Bridge Club.
She is survived by her daughters; Charleen Leduc, Carolyn Goudreau, Rosalyn Dumont, Diane (Claude) Mercier, Louise (Arnold) Roherty, Gloria (Bruce) McIlveen, Carmen (Donald) Robinson, her sons; Gerald, Richard (Mary), Paul (Mary), Ernest (Linda), Philip (Deborah), Raymond (Patricia), Mark, and Ronald (Carmen), her sisters; Marion Crozier of Ottawa and Reta Matheson of Ottawa as well as 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Guy Goudreau who died in August of 1974, her brothers; Harold, David William and James and her sister, Grace.
Her funeral was held on December 13 at Our Lady of Snow's Church with Father Morrison officiating.

Margot Mahoney
The death of Margot Mahoney of Campbellton occurred on December 1, 2002 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital. She was 58.
She was born on March 11, 1944 the daughter of the late John Floyd and the late Ellen Roberts. She was a mother, a housewife and was active in the Meals on Wheels program and also enjoyed bowling, curling, skiing and needlepoint.
She is survived by her husband, Mike, her son, Stephen of Toronto, her sisters; Audrey Gagnier of Campbellton and Elsie Loyd of Brockville, Ontario, her brother, Corey Floyd of Campbellton, her nieces; Rhea Whalen of Orillia, Ontario, Brenda Gagnier of Florida, Penny Boyd of Brockville, and Bonnie of Miami and one Nephew Lonnie Gagnier of Halifax.
Her funeral was held on December 6 at the First United Church in Campbellton with Rev. Jim Macdonald officiating. Interment was in the Campbellton Rural Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bernie Mahoney, Sonny Cooling, Joey Delaney, Lonnie Gagnier, Mike Gorham, and Lou Roy.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Campbellton.
Isabel Anna Miller
The death of Isabel Miller occurred at the Campbellton Nursing Home on December 6, 2002. She was born in Maria the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Miller and was a dedicated stenographer for the Fraser Pulp Mill.
She is survived by her siser Eva Murchie of Dalhousie, her nieces; Arlene Nichol and Isabel Coffin, and her nephew, Henry Murchie as well as many friends.
She is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
Her funeral was held at Maher's funeral Chapel on December 9 with rev. James MacDonald officiating.

Allain Audit
The death of Allain Audit, son of Jenean (Guitard) and the late Alvin Audit, of Archibald occurred on December 5, 2002 in Slave Lake, Alberta at the age of 43.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy, his brother, Jamie and his sister Susie (Dale) Smearer as well as his grandmother Sadie Guitard.
His funeral was held on December 10 at St. Gabriel's Church in Jacquet River with Father Wilfred Benoit officiating. Interment will be in the spring in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy Hickey, Kenneth Davidson, Ricky Rosengren, Sherman Carrier, Johnny Mallaley, and Donnie Lapointe. Honourary pallbearers were Wayne Lapointe, Micheal Hickey, Donald McNair and Rocco Buraglia.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home in Black Point.
