Ronald Robichaud

The death of Ronald Robichaud occurs at St. Joseph Hospital on February 2, 2004 at the age of 52. He was the son of the late Gerald Robichaud and Gladys Pelletier of Dalhousie, N.B.

He leaves in mourn his mother Gladys Pelletier, his wife Emilie Bois Robichaud, two daughters Tina and Lynn Robichaud of Eel River Crossing, five brothers Jerry Robichaud of Bowmanville, Ont., Roger Robichaud of Newmarket, Ont., Paul Robichaud of Belledune, N.B. Matthew Robichaud of Oromocto, N.B. and Louis Robichaud of Grand falls, N.B. as well as four grandchildren.

Charles D. Smith

The death of Charles D. Smith of 142 George St., Dalhousie, N.B., occurred at St. Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie on February 10, 2004.

Born in Gaspé on March 10, 1917, he was the son of the late Xavier Smith and the late Isabelle Fortin. Charles was employed as a carpenter with the NBIP mill in Dalhousie.

He is survived by his daughters, Margaret Duplisea of Dalhousie and Georgine Vautour of Point La Nim, and two sons Ernest Smith of Dalhousie and Alexander Smith of Edmonton, Alberta. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Fernande Montefrisco

The death of Fernande Montefrisco, wife of Albert Montifrisco of 2 McGarvie St., Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 27, 2004.

Born in Val D'Amour, N.B. on September 15, 1947 she was the daughter of Omer Levesque and Regina Perron.

She is survived by her husband Albert; daughters Michele Montefrisco of Dundee and Lee Ann Montefrisco of St. Aubin; son Roger Montefrisco of Gagetown, N.B.; sister Raymonde Levesque of Malauze; brothers Barthelemie Levesque of Kegdwick and Fernand Levesque of Campbellton.

Eustan Alden Mann

The death of Eustan Alden Mann of Matapedia, Quebec, occurred on February 9, 2004 in Matapedia.

Born in Upsalquitch on August 21, 1912, he was the son of the late John R. Mann and the late Marshall Mann.

Eustan was employed for 58 years as a fishing guide and bus driver.

He is survived by his son John Mann of Campbellton, grandchildren John, Sheila, Shelly, Linda and Brenda, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

John Joseph Valdron
1959-2003

John Joseph Valdron passed away accidentally on November 13, 2003.

He was the son of the late Lloyd Valdron and Lois Durette Valdron.

He is survived by his mother Lois Durette Valdron, his wife Anita, his two daughters Amanda and Melissa (Tyler), one son Darell, three brothers Robert, Ron and Jim and one sister Kim. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad Lloyd Valdron.

Jean Francis Sterling

Mrs. Jean Francis Sterling, wife of that late Charles Sterling of 131 George St., Dalhousie passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on February 13, 2004.

Born in Dalhousie on March 12, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Wilson R. Howatson and the late Jessie Ann McLean. She was a member of the Atlantic Missionary Society of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, and she loved gardening and caring for hr flowers.

She is survived by her two sons John A. (Carole) Sterling of Fredericton, and Donald W. (Jackie) Sterling of Minto, N.B.; a daughter-in-law Donna Claire (Bunny) Sterling; grandchildren David sterling, Raelene Sterling, Tammy Sterling, Jason Sterling, Kelly Sterling, of Fredericton, Shelly Methot of Point la Nim, Krista Rioux of Campbellton, Brian Sterling of Ottawa, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son Alden Sterling.

Victor carrier

The sudden death of Victor Carrier of Chateauguay, Que., occurred on January 30, 2004, at the age of 58. He was the son of Evelyne Carrier of Dalhousie, N.B. and the late Peter Carrier of Eel River Bar, N.B.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Martine Carrier (née Marcoux) and daughter Julie both of Chateauguay Que., two brothers Hector of Campbellton, N.B., and Roger (Sharon) of Charlo, N.B., and one sister Vicky (Leon) of St. Julie, Que.

Alexina Henry

The death of Alexina Henry wife of the late Herman Henry, of 440 Victoria St. Dalhousie, occurred at St. Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie on February 2, 2004.

Born in Shippigan, N.B. on October 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Cesar Chiasson and the late Marie St. Coeur.

She is survived by her daughter Joy Reid of Alberta and Susan Reid of Dalhousie, son Ronald Henry of Dalhousie, sister Ursula Chaisson Jennings (Boswell) and four grandchildren Andrea, Matthew, Amy, Sue and Jenna Lynn.

She was predeceased by her first husband David Kelly Reid and second husband Herman Henry, four brothers Gilbert, Elzear, Leolin, and jean-Eudes Chiasson.

Eva M. Miller

Eva M. Miller, age 92, formerly of Charlo, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton (where she had spent the past three years) on December 15, 2003.

Born in Charlo, she was the daughter of the late John and Winnifred (Dickie) MacLean and wife of the late R. Leslie Miller.

She was a nurse graduating from Soldier Memorial Hospital in 1937, very active in Saint Paul's United Church in Charlo where she was organist for 25 years, Eva was a member of the U.C.W., W.I. and eastern Star.

She is survived by a daughter Carole Sterling and her husband John of Fredericton; a grandson David Sterling and his wife Barbara of Fredericton; a granddaughter Raelene Sterling of Fredericton; three great granddaughters Alicia and Amy Sterling and Morgan Simpson; one great grandson Evan Sterling all of Fredericton; sisters Margaret Fawcett of Moncton, Marion Powers of Toronto, Effie Evans of Toronto; brothers Norman MacLean of Ottawa, Murray MacLean of North Bay, Albert MacLean of Charlo and Donald Maclean of Bath; many nieces and nephews.

Dina Parker

The death of Dina Parker, resident of the Village Nursing Home, occurred at her place of residence on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at the age of 91.

Born in Caraquet, N.B. on September 23, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Lazarre Lanteigne and the late Philomene Lanteigne. She loved hunting and fishing with her late husband Charles Parker.

Dina is survived by her son Don Parker of Campbellton, a niece Mona (Morais) of St. Laurent, for half-sisters Zelda, Aurora, Fabiola all of Caraquet and Gabrielle of Red Rock, Ontario, her brother Alphonse (Brigette) of Sarnia, Ont., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased be her parents, four brothers, two sisters and one half-brother.
