Noye-Inez Norma
April 10,1929 - March 26, 2003

The family and friends of the late Inez Noye were saddened to hear of her passing at her residence in Brampton, Ontario, on March 26, 2003. She passed away peacefully after a long illness.

Inez was predeceased by her husband, Victor Noye, of Upsalquitch, New Brunswick, in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann and her husband Bill Golden of Fort McMurray, Alberta, as well as her sons, Kenneth and Scott, both of Brampton, Ontario.

Interment will be in the Flatlands Cemetery in N.B., at a later date.

Beatrice Lejeune

The death of Beatrice Lejeune of Jacquet River occurred Tuesday, April 1, at the Bathurst Regional Hospital at the age of 75. She was born in Jacquet River and is the daughter of the late William Lejeune and Margaret Ann (Page).

She is survived by four brothers, Frank, Saint John, Wilfred (Lotte), Port Rowan, Ontario, Augustin (Lou), Beresford, John, Jacquet River, and two sisters, Mary Lejeune, Saint John, Evelyn Lejeune, Jacquet River.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Mrs Emma St. Laurent

The death of Mrs. Emma St Laurent of the Campbellton Nursing Home, wife of the late Alphonse St. Laurent, occurred at her residence on April 4 at the age of 101.

She was born in Bathurst, N.B., on February 2, 1902, to the late William Godin and Celina Landry.

She is survived by her daughters, Pauline (Geldart) LeBlanc, Atholville, Therese (Ulton) McGaghey, Atholville, Germaine (Eddy) Boissonneault, Campbellton, Cecile (Ivan) Hennessey, Dalhousie, Pierrett (Gilles) Arseneault, Scarborough, Simonne (Jean-Paul) Young, New Richmond, PQ., sons, Edmond (Yolande) St. Laurent, St Eustache, PQ., Louis (Patsy) St. Laurent, Atholville, Charles (Ghislaine) St Laurent, St Felicien. She is slao survived by 50 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.

She was the last living member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Yvonne Nicolle

The death of Mrs. Yvonne Nicolle, of Glen Levit, N.B., occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on April 5 at the age of 88. She was born in Caplan, PQ, to the late Antoine and Emma Bujold on February 17, 1915.

She is survived by daughters, Adeline (Late George) Adams, Glen Levit, Helen (Gae) Flanagan, Moncton, sons, Ralph (Gloria) Nicolle, Glen Levit, Albert (Marjorie) Nicolle, Upsalquitch, and Robert (Sandra) Nicolle, Bathurst.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Edmund Nicolle.

Camille LeBlanc
(1950-2003)

The death of Camille LeBlanc of Caraquet occurred suddenly at the Bathurst Regional Hospital March 19, 2003. Born in Atholville, he was the son of the late Henri and Marie (Parker) LeBlanc. He was predeceased by his wife (Mariette Cormier) two years ago. Camille is survived by his friend Mona Landry of Caraquet, three sons, Marc-André (Béatrice Laroque) of Caraquet, Eric (Nancy Besner) of Gatineau, Qué., Pascal (Katia Chiasson) of ST-Stephen, one daughter, Joanne (Pascal Roy) of Moncton, one granddaughter (Alexandra), four sisters, Claudette (Butch Dobson) of New-Richmond, Stella (Late Alan Grover) of Calgary, Lucie (Michel DeGrâce), Jackie (Gary Larracy), both of Dieppe, many nephews and nieces, brothers & sisters-in-law. Mr. LeBlanc worked for La Fédération des Caisses populaires acadiennes for the past 30 years.

Elizabeth Boudreau

Elizabeth Boudreau, formerly of Glencoe, N.B., passed away in London, Ontario, on April 4, 2003 at the age of 97.

A memorial mass and interment of ashes will take place at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Geln Levit, NB at a date to be announced later.

Jessie M. Gillis

The death of Mrs. Jessie Matilda (Irvine) Gillis of Lake George, N.B., wife of Frank M. Gillis, occurred on Thursday, April 3, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Campbellton, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Elizabeth (Demeau) Irvine. For many years, Jessie had been employed with Kings Landing and then at the Silverwood Motel. Jessie enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband Frank, one daughter Freda M. (Mrs Richard Flaherty), Toronto, Ont., two grandchildren, Stephen Flaherty, and Marsha (Mrs Peter Asmunt), both of Toronto, Ont., three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Kathlyn, and Matthew, three brothers, Burns Irvine, Glencoe, N.B., Grant Irvine, Barrie, Ont., as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Wesley and Scott.

Yvonne Lavoie

The death of Yvonne Lavoie of the Bon Ami Villa, Dalhousie, NB , occurred at the St. Joseph Hospital, Dalhousie on April 1 at the age of 92. She was born in Quebec on December 24, 1910, to the late Joseph Chouinard and Philomene Thibeault.

She is survived by her daughter, Ramona (Renaud) Lavoie, Dalhousie, grandchildren, Roch (Lise) Lavoie, Moncton, N.B. and Rene Lavoie, Lachenaie, PQ.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Hervé Lavoie.

Wilfred Larocque

The death of Wilfred Larocque of 20 St. Peter St., Campbellton, N.B., occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 31 at the age of 60. He was born in Campbellton on Feb. 18, 1943, to the late Silfroid Larocque and Claira Frenette.

He was a carpenter for over 40 years and enjoyed following blue grass music.

He is survived by his wife Helen Simmons from Campbellton, daughters, Angela Firth (Roger), Margaret Raymond (Denis), Paula Larocque (Israel), Mona Larocque (Billy), Tina Larocque (Johnny) from the Campbellton area, brothers, Pat, Roger, and Timmy Larocque, sister, Corrinne Rivière, grandchildren, Justin Firth, Amber Firth, Ryan Raymond, Mandy-Lynn Raymond, Bianca Chouinard, Tori Boudreau and Mikayla Jean.

He was predeceased by his sister, Rose Marie Larocque, brothers, Peter, Lawrence and Roland Larocque.
