Alphee Bourdage
On February 17, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital in Dalhousie, passed away Mr. Alphee Bourdage, resident of the Bon Ami Villa in Dalhousie. Alphee was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Bertin.
Born in St. Charles de Caplan on May 20, 1922, he was the son of the late Jean Baptiste Bourdage and the late Louise Bourdage. Alphee was a millwright for the N.B.I.P. mill in Dalhousie and a veteran of world war II.
He is survived by his children; Robert (Raymonde) Bourdage of Vancouver, B.C., Linda (Ed) Borlik of Milton, Ont., Gerald (Bev) Bourdage of Courtright, Ont., Claude Bourage of Dieppe, N.B., Claudette Bourdage of Ameliasburgh, Ont., and Monique (Dave) Burns of Newmarket, Ont.; brothers and sisters Germaine (Paul) Arseneault of Ottawa, Loretta Walsh of Dalhousie, Blandine Arseneault of Moncton, Maurice (Cecile) Bourdage of Edmonton, Alb., and Adrienne (Mark) Forster of Dalhousie.
Alphee is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Daisy Margaret Murray
The death of Daisy Margaret Murray, resident of the Village Nursing Home, occurred in Campbellton on January 31, 2004, at the age of 73.
Born in Campbellton on September 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. Murray and the late Sarah E. Gallon. Daisy was an ardent churchgoer and loved to sing and knit.
She will be sadly missed by her sisters Irene Jenkins of Campbellton, N.B., Marion (Bob) Mills of Thorold, Ont., and Joan Henderson of Toronto, Ont., brother George (Bessie) Murray of Campbellton, N.B.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
J. Edmond Malley
At St. Joseph Hospital, Dalhousie on February 15, 2004, passed away J. Edmond Malley of 594 Victoria St. Dalhousie.
Born in Dalhousie on April 6, 1921, he was the son of the late Albert Malley and the late Adele Savoie. Edmond was a Formean for the N.B.I.P. mill in Dalhousie.
He is survived by his wife Laura Blanchette Malley; three daughters Jean (Albert Savoir) of Eel River Crossing, Simonne (Adelard Savoie) of Bathurst, and Alice Mallais (John Vermette) of Dalhousie; one son Albert (Darlene Golden) Malley of Dalhousie Junction; one sister Margaret Rose carter of Dalhousie, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Leonida Loubert
The death of Leonida, resident of the Village Nursing Home, occurred at the Village on February 14, 2004, at the age of 98.
Born in Campbellton, N.B., on July 24, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Marie Parent. Leonida was a homemaker who enjoyed her time at the knitting club.
She will be sadly missed by her brother Leonard Loubert of Cobourg, Ontario, as well as her nieces Jeannine Lavoie of Campbellton and Connie Carr of Toronto, Ontario.
She was predeceased by two brothers Leo and Lionel Loubert and three sisters Lucie and Katherine Loubert and Janice Lutes.
