Clair Wilmot
Clair Wilmot of 510 Ch . Petite Riviere du Loup, Pointe-a-la-Croix , died on May 5 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital . From Pointe-a-la-Croix he was the son of Adelard Wilmot and Angele Barthe .
He is survived by his wife Florine Boudreau, daughters; Matine (Jean Paul) Vallieres of Pointe-a-la-Croix and Ruby (Greg) Allan of Fredericton. Also by sons, Marcel (Diane) Wilmot of Quebec and Jim (Jeannine) Wilmot of Campbellton .
He was predeceased by sisters Eva (Melvin) Duncan, Bridget (Balfour) Duncan, Gene (Oliver) Frigon and Evangeline (Eddy) Gallant . Also by brothers Raymond (Helen, Evangeline) Wilmot and George Wilmot .
The funeral was held in Sainte Helene's Church , Pointe-a-la-Croix on May 8 with Father Leblanc officiating . Interment in the parish cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Réal St-Onge
The death of Réal St-Onge, 49, of 192 Bellvue Road, Escuminac, Quebec occurred May 15 in Escuminac. He was born in Escuminac on September 11, 1953, son of Alex St-Onge and Aline Francoeur.
He is survived by his mother and daughters Veronica (Kelly) McNally of Alberta and Frances (Jamie) Savoie of Alberta. He is also survived by sisters Gisele (Eugene) Mercier of McLeods, Claudette (Raymond) Savoie of McLeods and Françine (Vital) Caissy. He is survived by brothers Gaston (Renelle) St-Onge of New Richmond, Alain (Georgette) St-Onge of Escuminac and Richard (Cecille) St-Onge of Escuminac. Also survived by his grandchildren, Shea, Tristan, Ashley, Cody and 32 nieces and nephews. He had been a mechanic for 17 years. He was a volunteer Fire Chief, a member of municipal council and the sports club president .
The funeral was held a Notre Dame de la Garde on May 19 and was officiated by father Clifford Green. Interment in the Escuminac United Church Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home in Campbellton.
Thomas Stewart Duncan
Thomas Stewart Duncan of Tide Head died on May 13, 2003 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 80. He was a veteran of WW2 and was employed at C.N.R. for forty-two years.
Born in Campbellton on September 4, 1922, he was the son of Arthur Ritchie Duncan (deceased) and Ellen Barclay (deceased). He is survived by his wife, Ella Ramsay Duncan, daughters, Debbie (Raymond) Smith and Ruth (Donald) Taylor, his son, Ritchie (Nancy) Duncan. Also survived by grandchildren, Jason and Leslie Stewart and Carolyn and Catherine Taylor, great-grand-daughter Destiny Taylor, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Muriel Poley, Opal Wirtanen, and Audrey Ramsay. Also by brother, John Grant.
The funeral was held at Maher's Funeral Chapel on May 15 with Rev. Wendal Gregan officiating. Interment was at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Diane Paulin
The death of Diane Paulin Bélanger occurred on April 28 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 42.
She is survived by her husband Michel Bélanger, her son Gaétan Doucet, her parents Rina and Benoît Lagacé, her four brothers, Gérard, Pierre, Roger and Henri Paulin, her two sisters, Rita and Jacqueline Paulin, her nieces, Karine, France, Jessika, Mindy and Teffany, her three nephews, René, Andrew and Justin, also many brothers and sisters-in-law and so many friends.
She will never be forgotten in our hearts. She will always be remembered because of the wonderful kindness she had and she will always be part of us.
