Esther Mallet
Esther Mallet, resident at the Village Nursing Home, Campbellton, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on June 1, 2003, at the age of 80.
Born in Pokemouche, NB on January 2, 1923, she was the daughter of Frederick Landry (deceased) and Elizabeth Landry (deceased) .
She is survived by son Michel (Nancy) of Campbellton; sisters Anna (Joseph) Battah, of Atholville, and Julianne LaPierre of Ste-Julie; and brother August Landry, of Inkerman.
She is also survived by her husband Leopold and her son Raymond.
The funeral service was held on June 4 in the Our Lady of Snows Church, Campbellton, with Father Morrison Officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.
Elizabeth Boudreau
A funeral service for Elizabeth Boudreau of Glencoe was held at St. Anthony's Church in GlenLevit on Wednesday, June 4th, officiated by Father Wade.
Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Ellen (Adams) Boudreau. She lived in the family home in Glencoe until September 2001 and then moved to Ontario where she passed away April 4, 2003 at the age of 97 years.
John Harris
The death of Mr. John F. Harris, of Dalhousie occurred on June 1, 2003 at the ST. Joseph's Hospital in Dalhousie.
John, who was 76 at the time of his death, was born in Chatham NB and moved to Dalhousie NB with his parents at the age of six years old.
He was the son of the late John (Sr.) and Catherine (Miller) Harris. John is survived by his wife Dorothy (Savoy) Harris of Dalhousie. One sister and one brother survive John F. Harris. They are Mrs. Mary (Harris) Wallace of Niagara Falls ONT.., and Mr. Stan Harris of Dalhousie, NB. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews from various locations.
John F. Harris was a Merchant Marine Veteran, and a member of the Dalhousie Legion Branch 17.
John's remains were buried on June 7, 2003 at the St. Jean Baptist Parish in Dalhousie.
