Edward Thomas Grenier
The death of Edward Thomas Grenier of 32 Mountain Road, Campbellton, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on March 2, 2005, at the age of 74.
Born in Dalhousie on August 5, 1930, he was the son of the late Thomas Grenier and the late Violet Flannagan.
Surviving him are his wife Maida Allaison (Eide) Grenier, sisters Falda Bouchard, Lois Ross and Shirley Jones and brother John Grenier.
Jeannette LaPointe
The death of Jeannette LaPointe of 360 Grey St., Dalhousie, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 28, 2005, at the age of 60.
Born in Dalhousie on May 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Emile Parent and the late Edna Fitzsimmons.
Surviving her is her husband Clarence LaPointe, daughter Shelly Lapointe of Moncton, son Marc Doucet of Montreal, sister Jeannine( Willie) Jean of Point La Nim, brother Jimmy Parent of Dalhousie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mary Beatrice (Betty) Callaghan
The death of Mary Beatrice (Betty) Callaghan, of 44 Boucher St., Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 25, 2005, at the age of 73.
Born in Campbellton on August 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Austin Callaghan and the late Ada Boudreau. Mary was a member of the Catholic Women's League, member of the St Thomas Aquinas Choir, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #19, and a board member of the RCVAA.
Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving her were numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceasing her were Beulah (Jim Adams), Alden (Isabelle), Elsie (Auley Gallant), Raymond (Veronica), George (Bernice), Reginald (Irene), and Angus (Rita).
