Germaine LeBlanc

Germaine LeBlanc of Bon Ami Villa, passed away at the Dalhousie Nursing Home on June 20th 2003 at the age of 85.

Born February 26th 1918 in Balmoral, she was the daughter of James Fontaine and Delima Poirier.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Mona Bellefleur (Claude), of Montreal P.Q.: sister Alphreda Mallet (George), of Dalhousie; brother Daniel Fontaine of Charlo; nieces, Mrs. Eveline Doucet (Lionel), of Dalhousie, Mrs. Jeannette Schurm, of Pembrook, Ont.; nephews Gilbert LePage (Aldea), of Dalhousie, and Hector Pelletier (Laurianne), of St. Isodore.

She was predeceased by her husband Napoleon LeBlanc.

Funeral service was held at St. Jean Baptiste in Dalhousie, on June 23rd, and officiated by Rev. Yvon Doiron.

Interment was held at the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gilbert LePage (nephew), Raymond Diotte (nephew), Eric Doucet (grandson), Robert Berthelotte (nephew), Yvon LeBlanc (nephew) and Samuel Pelletier (grandson).

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton.

McIntyre, Emerentienne (Née Hache)

Emerentienne McIntyre, of 15 Craig Street in Charlo passed away on June 19th at the age of 82 years old.

Born in Bertrand, NB on July 8th 1920, she was the daughter of Richard Hache and Josephine Theriault.

She was a devoted mother and homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Edwidge (Tim) Phillippe, of Dalhousie, Rejeanne, of Charlo, Pierrette (James) Jalbert, of Charlo, William (Lise) of Charlo, Dianne (Ludger) Savoie, of Eel River Crossing, Richard (Claudette), of Charlo, Michel, of Charlo, Edmonde (Pierre) Beaudoin, of Fredericton, Ghislaine (Michel) Jones, of Charlo, Lise, of Charlo, Patrice (Sandra), of Eel River Crossing, Rodrigue (Lea) of Charlo, and Louis (Judy), of Charlo; sister Josephine Poirier, of Caraquet; brother-in-law, Arthur Theriault, of Bertrand, NB

She is also survived by her 27 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Josephine and her husband Edmond and a daughter, Evangeline.

Funeral services were held on June 23rd at Saint Francis Xavier in Charlo with Father Doiron officiating. Interment was held at the parish cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Balmoral.

Greta May McMahon

The sudden death of Greta May McMahon, widow of James McMahon, occurred in Barrie, Ontario on May 3rd 2003. She was the daughter of the late William and Letitia Gregoire of Broadlands, Quebec. She is survived by her two children J. J. and Kelly of Barrie, sisters Jean and Betty, and brothers, Raymond, Harvey, and Jackie.

Opal MacMillan

The death of Opal MacMillan, occurred June 14th 2003, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 66.

She was daughter of David Mallaley and the late Hannah Bertin.

She was predeceased by her mother Hannah and her son Beverly.

She is survived by her husband Billy, two sons, Melvin of Doyleville, Carey (Tamara) of Doyleville, four daughters, Anne (Gary McPhearson) of Doyleville, Jeannine (Gene) Dionne of Cambridge Ontario, Sandra MacMillan of Kitchener Ontario, and Penny (Conrad) MacMillan of Doyleville.

She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her funeral was held at Bethal United Church in Nash Creek,on June 16th, officiated by Reverend Olive Ann Archibald, with burial in the New Mills cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Debbie Carrier, Wanda Lapointe, Holly Carrier, Amy Lapointe, Frances Duplessis, Dawn Hickey, Dorothy Carmicheal, Hazel Hickey.

Active pallbearers were Sheldon MacPherson, Darren MacPherson, Dean Hickey, Allisson Hickey, Wayne Hickey, Ricky Hickey, Lee Murchie and Darryl Hickey.

Funeral arrangements were in the care of MacMillan's Funeral Home in Black Point.
