MacIntyre Eliza Georgina

Eliza Georgina (Comely) MacIntyre, 103, passed away at the Campbellton Nursing Home where she lived for two years with her son Ken (who is still living there).

Eliza was born in Broadlands Quebec December 23, 1899. She is the widow of the late William (Bill) MacIntyre, Kouchibouguac.

Eliza died shortly after being diagnosed with a tumour, but other than that she had no major operations other than two broken hips. She was still sharp and alert up to the end.

Eliza is survived by son Wallace MacIntyre, Campbellton, daughter Charlotte (Gorman) Boutillier's Point, Nova Scotia.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by son Bert (Mac) MacIntyre and by daughter June (Lappi), and grandson James (Gorman).

Clark William Lyons

The death of Clark William Lyons occurred August 1, 2003 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. He would have been 78 on August 24th. A life long resident of Mann Settlement, he was the son of the late Charles Lyons and Grete Mann. Clark is survived by three sons, Wallace, Douglas and Brian; nine daughters Vera, Faith, Donna, Catherine, Caroline, Lynn, Joan, Marilyn and Lisa; three brothers Garnet, James and Robert; three sisters Betty, Margaret and Greta; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his wife Bernice, and two children, a son and a daughter, who died in infancy, one brother Sifton, and two sisters Melita and Frances.

Boyd John Warren

The death of Boyd John Warren of 15 Aberdeen St., Campbellton, occurred at his residence on August 19, 2003. He was 67.

Born in Broadlands, Quebec, on March 28, 1936, he was the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Frederick Charles Warren (Doucet).

He had been an auto mechanic and was involved with the United Church Sunday School.

He is survived by his daughter Tanya Lorinda Warren of Cambpellton and a grandson, Tyler Shane Warren.

Also surviving are three sisters, Linda (Merv), Jeanne (Ron) and Patsy, all of Ontario; four brothers Barry of Manotoba, Allen (Arleigh), Jim (Lena) and Joe (Jeannine) of NB and Dan (Pauline) of Ontario.

Grace Doucett

At the Village Nursing Home, Campbellton, on August 3, 2003, passed away Mrs. Grace Doucett, wife of the late Harry Doucett.

Born in Oak Bay, P.Q. on March 12, 1905, she was the daughter of the late Richard Tennier and the late Lydia Anez.

She was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Woman's League.

She is survived by her daughter, Arjean (Harold) Maglio, of California, USA; two sons, David (Carmel) Doucett of McLeods, and Richard (Micheline) Doucett, of Campbellton, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry; three brothers, Lloyd, Russell, and Otis Tennier; four sisters who died at an early age; her son-in-law, Gerald, and her grandson Robert (Bob) Bujold.

Donald Charles Allingham

Donald Charles Allingham, of 112 Victoria street, Campbellton, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on August 14, 2003 at the age of 69.

Born in Campbellton on February 10, 1934, he was he son of Charles Allingham (deceased 1972) and Lyalla Galion (Deceased 1983)

Donald was employed at the Fraser Mill for 34 years.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Poirier, of Campbellton; and brother David (Annette) Allingham of Campbellton.

He is also survived by niece, Heidi Allingham-Vautour; nephews, James Allingham and Sean Allingham; and great-nephew, Kyle David Vautour.

Delphis Roy

The death of Delphis Roy from Toronto, originally from Eel River Crossing, occurred on August 11, 2003 at the age of 73.

He is leaving behand his wife Pat, four brothers; Victor, from Eel River Crossing, Leo, from Dalhousie, Emile from Toronto, and Louis from Toronto; four sisters; Blanche, from Eel River Crossing, Nelly, from Eel River Crossing, Jeannette, from Dalhousie, and Simone, from Quebec.

He si also survived by seven nieces and nephews; Paul, Robert, Paulette, Aaron, Terry, Renee, Cyndney, and Michael all of Toronto.

Glenda (Murray) Grimes

April 29th 1939 - August 16th 2003 friends and relatives were shocked and saddened by Glenda's death on August 16th 2003 at the Moncton City Hospital, she was 64.

Born In Glencoe, N.B. the youngest daughter of the late Lawrence Murray and the late Alphonsine (Gervais) Murray/ She was member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Campbellton N.B

A legal secretary and bookkeeper of 46 years, she was soon retiring and looking forward to that day. Her Husband Jim had only recently retired.

Glenda had an unfortunate accident on August 15th 2003 at the entrance of the Van Horne Bridge in Campbellton. It was 42 years to the day, August 15th 1961 that she was crowned first princess in The Miss Restigouche Beauty Pageant as part of the Campbellton Cross Point Bridge.

She is survived by husband Jim of 40 years, brothers, Lawrence JR. (Amanda) of Comapbellton, Bryce (Laura) of Moncton, sisters, Christina (Jim) McLean of St. George Ontario, Grace (Glen) Macey of Vancouver, Esther Jenkins of Ottawa and Betty Doyle of McLeods Siding, also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her sisters Mamie Dunn and Brothers Simon, Paul, Leonard, Johnny, and George.

Lynn LaPointe

The death of Lynn LaPointe, of Brantford, Ontario, and formerly of Nash Creek, occurred Tuesday, August 12, 2003 in Brantford, at the age of 42.

Born in Dalhousie, she was the daughter of Joan (Russell) and the late Louis LaPointe.

She is survived by her mother, Joan, of Nash Creek; companion, Ken Dow, of Brantford; brother Terry, of Nash Creek and nephew; Ryan of Nash Creek.

She was predeceased by her father, Louis.

Wesley Jackson Miller

Wesley Jackson Miller of Campbell River, B.C. passed away August 12, 2003 at age 80. He was the son of the late Jackson and Edma (Winton) Miller of Dalhousie. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Anderson) of 48 years and his sons Cary and Victor and daughters Melanie and Belinda and his five grandchildren and one great grandson. He is also survived by one brother Chester (Shirley) Miller of Dalhousie and three sisters, Viola (Robert) Mitchell, Pensacola, Fla., Violet (Andrew) Esfakis Nassau, Bahamas and Meryl (Joe) Gordon, Saratoga, Calif., and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces, great nephews and cousins in the immediate area.

Wesley was predeceased by brothers John (Helen), Arnold, Orville (Opal), Alward (Lillian), and sisters Mildred (Timothy Quigley, Elsie (Doug) Brawley, Vesta (Ken) Roberts.
